Send Quamut to a friend
Speed up Access with your keyboard.

Microsoft Access 2007 lets you perform most of the program’s commands by using keyboard shortcuts alone. This guide covers:
  • All the keyboard shortcuts available in Access (up to Access 2007)
  • Shortcuts for specific features, such as Property Sheets and Objects
  • Ways to perform every Access command using the new KeyTips feature

Keyboard Shortcuts Basics

A keyboard shortcut is a keystroke or a combination of two or more keystrokes that you can use to execute a command in a computer program more quickly than you could by clicking with a mouse. This guide covers all of the keyboard shortcuts in Access 2007—most of the shortcuts covered here also apply to earlier versions of Access.

How to Use Access Shortcuts on a Mac

The shortcuts listed in this guide are for PCs, but most will also work on Macs with just two slight modifications:
  • Instead of the Ctrl key: Use the Command key
  • Instead of the Alt key: Use the Option key
