Getting Started

To complete the nature theme, you can make matching nature-oriented pins with a bit of polymer clay, straight pins with metal heads, and acrylic craft paint.

Skill Level

  • Easy

What You Need

  • Wood grain top design and pattern (found at the end of the instructions)
  • Wood grain side design pattern (found at the end of the instructions)
  • 9" x 12" (22.9 x 30.5 cm) of tan craft felt
  • White or blue transfer paper
  • Embroidery needle
  • Embroidery floss, 1 skein each of brown and dark brown
  • Polyester fiberfill

Stitches Used

  • Split stitch
  • Whip stitch

Finished Size

  • 1-1⁄2" (3.8 cm) deep, 2-1⁄2" (6.4 cm) in diameter, 7" (17.8 cm) in circumference
