Side Effects

Be sure to tell your health-care practitioner if you experience any side effects while taking galantamine. Only your health-care practitioner can determine whether it is safe for you to continue taking this drug. Approximately 80% of patients who take galantamine experience some adverse reactions.

Most Common: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, weight loss
Less Common: abdominal pain, dizziness, confusion, sleepiness or sleeplessness
