About This Drug
Phentermine is an appetite suppressant used in the treatment of obesity. This drug should be used on a short-term basis only and under a health-care practitioner’s close supervision. Appetite suppressants are not a substitute for a sensible, healthy, overall weight loss program. Phentermine works by stimulating the central nervous system.
